Torta alle carote

torta_alle_carote_2

I bought the centrifuge a few days ago and I am very satisfied, even if from a fruit / vegetable

the juice extracted is relatively short, and the gap is relatively much.

Today, after two delicious centrifuged carrots I found myself with a pile of finely

grated carrots and so I ‘thought of making a cake.

The ‘classical’ combination is ‘carrots and almonds, and I must say that this cake is delicious and delicate and does not charge any artificial flavoring added, please remember that all those beautiful little vials are all synthetic, get an excellent organic essential oil and use it if you do not have an organic citrus.

The same for vanilla: as far as possible do not use vanillin (synthetic product) and use the vanilla pure berries also sell online are very good and just keep it sealed to get a perfumed product and super effective.

Okay, after this digression let’s move to the ingredients of this delicious cake

(that my children have eaten even though they were obviously skeptical):

00 multipurpose flour 250 g
starch 50 g
3 whole eggs
caster sugar 200g
160 g finely grated carrots
80 ml milk
rice oil 80 ml
50 g ground almonds purposes
baking powder 1/2 teaspoon
organic orange essential oil 20 drops
icing sugar to decorate

I fitted the K silicone whisk in Kenwood and I did go a little ‘eggs and sugar.

Till ‘I did go to work in the grill of a microwave dish with almonds, to make more’ easy to grind; I then put in the grinder Kenwood and operated pulse so ‘as not to heat up the almonds and drain the oil.

I then mixed solids and liquids in the bowl and added at the end almonds and carrots.

I greased and floured cake pan aluminum donut (diameter 22 cm)

and bake in a hot oven for 35 minutes at 170 ° C.
